summer programs

I have plenty of options for my students to continue practicing this summer! It is a requirement that if families would like remain active in my studio, students need to choose at least one program throughout the summer or pay a retainer fee. Is your family busy this summer and only have a short window for lessons? We can work together to create a schedule similar to a camp where we schedule multiple lessons in one week and complete a program within a few weeks or half the summer. I'll work with whatever schedule your family has this summer!

2024 SUMMER PIANO OLYMPICS

This program is already a hot topic among my students! The 2024 Summer Piano Olympics program is designed to set specific goals for each student that are tailored to their individual level. Students will be collecting points in 5 categories: memory, theory, performance, technique and attendance. As students collect points throughout the summer, they can track their progress both online and on our new studio bulletin board. Collecting enough points will earn them a gold, silver or bronze trophy!

SUMMER NOTE SMASHERS

This program is designed to get students learning notes at a fast pace using timers, iPad and floor games, flashcards, buzzers and more! This is geared for the student that would like to drastically improve their note naming so reading music can become easier! We will set a timed goal by the end of the summer. Students can follow their progress both online and on our studio bulletin board and have a chance to receive a $20 Target gift card at our last lesson!

TECHNIQUE LESSONS

This would be an EXCELLENT program to sign up for if you want to simply change it up and only focus on technique. Students will build finger strength, dexterity and speed while mastering scales, chords and technical exercises. We will also focus on form, how to play piano and create a fun and motivating warm-up routine.

THEORY BOOT CAMP

As a certified instructor of Ultimate Music Theory, I will be hosting 4 theory boot camps! This is a way for students at a similar level to come together and have a crash course in music theory! I would love to see students come together to learn, have fun and deepen their understanding of music. Join with a friend! 2 levels are currently scheduled. More will be added soon.
